From your pantry:
32 oz chicken stock.
1 ½ cups water
1 ½ cups half & half or milk.
Optional: 1 cup lump crab meat, shredded chicken, or shrimp for a more hearty soup.
Bring chicken stock, water and soup mix to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and cover. Stir often to prevent sticking. Simmer for 30 minutes until vegetables are tender. Add half and half, and additional protein (if using) stir to combine and heat for 5 minutes uncovered (do not bring to a boil). Allow soup to rest off heat for 5 minutes prior to serving.
Ingredients: rice, freeze-dried sweet corn, onion, green & red bell peppers, carrot, onion, celery, spinach, parsley, and really good herbs & spices.
